Haven't posted for quite a while. June was a full month. Had two youth groups in from Athens, TX and Oregon. They helped with Kidz Carnivals in Angela/Chanslor, Karesh/Abbey Lane, and Northern Lights. Also removed a delapitated fence for an older lady referred to us by Pomona Code Enforcement and built shelves for People Matter Ministries' new food bank. It was great. Spent a lot of the month working with Ministry Center at Angela/Chanslor in South Pomona. A big grant ran out and the partners had to pull out. Been working with a couple people who have been able to stay under other arrangements. Going to be spending some time doing organizational development trying to help pull things together a little more tightly, a little more strategically. Tutoring at Marshall Middle School on the west side ended the end of May, beginning of June. Kids not able to focus anymore. I had a great time this year. Learned a lot, began to pull into a routine. I have a meeting with the Asst. Principal tomorrow. Still interested in the west side. Going to spend a little time on the south side developing Angela/Chanslor, but still need to keep the contacts and progress made intact on west side since Lord really openned doors there.
